About Me - Marc Fippel, People Artist
I am Marc Fippel, photographer, born in 1973 in Nairobi, Kenya. I spent my childhood between Kenya, South Africa, and Germany. I speak German, English, French, and a few words of Kiswahili. The world is my home. Join me on a journey. My upbringing shaped who I am, offering me the privilege of encountering diverse people and cultures. Relocating frequently taught me to adapt flexibly and spontaneously to new environments and unexpected moments.
My mother, Jacqueline Fippel, instilled in me the sensitivity and refined intuition for what truly matters in life. My father, Bernd Fippel, taught me the fundamentals of photography and showed me what it means to run an independent business with passion and endurance. Today, I live with my wife Heike and my son Emilias in Zwingenberg along the Hessian Bergstraße. My wife Heike supports me every day in our business.
What defines me? I am cosmopolitan, passionate about human connection, and driven to uncover what truly moves people within. Their stories inspire me. As a photographer, I am not merely an observer, but a catalyst: I help individuals discover and reveal their authentic selves—through imagery that connects and resonates. In every sense, I am a connector: it brings me genuine joy to bring people together, spark new momentum, and share creative ideas.
